The PE and Sports Hub provide a bespoke delivery service to schools. Whether you need a sports coach to provide fun engaging PE lessons as PPA cover, a PE Specialist to work alongside your staff to offer their expertise as CPD or someone to support your PE coordinator to provide leadership or additional competition opportunities, we can provide you a friendly face with the skills to enhance your PE provision.
We are committed to delivering high quality PE lessons.
Our staff receive monthly training and CPD including sport specific workshops, behaviour management technique training and industry recognised qualifications to ensure all lessons are of the highest standards.
We undertake regular observations for quality assurance and to ensure high standards.
All our lessons are planned, assessed and pupil progress is tracked using the Primary PE Passport.
Schools receive detailed, progressive planning with evidence provided for evaluation and analysis. The app provides schools with real data and produces an annual report for schools to use to inform future decisions, monitor the impact of the delivery and evidence progress over time.
To support the delivery of Physical Education we offer a wide range of programmes to ensure your PE contains a broad, balanced, progressive and challenging curriculum for your children. This is available as part of an annual delivery programme or for termly/half termly blocks.
Specialist Provision (Gym, Dance and Swimming)
GymnasticsThe PE and Sports Hub are excited to be working in partnership with the Beth Tweddle Total Gymnastics team – Delivered with a CPD focus This gives teachers valuable experience working with a qualified coach, and the pupils the opportunity to receive high level coaching from a qualified coach. The children are taught a wide spectrum of skills including rolling, jumping, balancing and travelling as well as improving their strength and flexibility and working with, and on, different apparatus. They will be developing sequences and can also work towards displays to showcase to parents and other teachers at the end of the term.
DanceOur team of Dancers can provide a variety of traditional, contemporary and creative dance lessons. We can plan bespoke lessons based around topics being studied in other curriculum areas as well as more contemporary and modern twists.
SwimmingIn Partnership with Total Swimming headed by Rebecca Adlington, Total Swimming offers swimming lessons that each work to a specific programme in order to get the best out of all pupils. All skill abilities and ages are welcome, with a fun, exciting approach to classes that encourages children to thrive and progress. Venues are assessed in order to ensure that they meet our high standards as a swimming academy; we believe that holding lessons in the right environment is just as important as the lesson itself. All centres have excellent facilities and equipment available for use throughout the classes (Geographical restrictions apply).
Team Teaching (CPD)
Becoming a more regular feature of our delivery, we provide support and advice for teachers to develop their confidence and ability to deliver outstanding PE. The team teaching combines the energy and expertise of the PE specialist with the pedagogy and management of the teacher to enhance the experience for the children.

Healthy Harry is a child centred healthy lifestyle programme.
Children will help Harry, who may occasionally not be very well, feel better. Through a mixture of games and physical activities the children will learn the importance of healthy bodies, healthy minds and healthy diet.
Children may recognise Harry’s feelings and develop strategies to help him get back to feeling fit and healthy.
Motor Skills United
Assist children in your school who have difficulties with coordination, handwriting, self-esteem, spatial and body awareness. Look to improve balance, coordination, confidence, sequencing, organisational skills, visual and auditory skills in small groups to aid learning when in a whole class setting.
We have a progressive approach to delivering games from securing the fundamental skills to refining technique, skill development and finally application through competitive situations using a variety of sports in net and wall, strike and field, invasion games and athletics.
Evidence Pupil Progress
Each member of staff is issued an iPad to record pupil achievements and collate evidence to support their judgements of pupil attainment.
Teacher assessments are provided each half term or on the completion of each unit of work. Assessments follow the ‘Olympic Theme’ of Gold, Silver and Bronze linked to National Curriculum expectations of working towards, achieved or exceeding expectations.
Obtaining feedback from the pupils on their understanding, confidence and perceived levels of performance can be valuable information when assessing performance and to inform future decisions and we are able to provide the opportunity for this to take place at regular stages throughout the year.
The assessment and data provided by staff in schools can be informative for teachers writing end of term reports as well being vital for the PE Coordinator to review delivery and identify potential intervention groups.
